¼ cup Semolina (Rava)1 no Banana (cut into small pieces)1 cup WaterSaffron (Few strands)1 tsp Milk¼ cup Sugar½ tblsp Ghee1 tsp Raisins2 tsp Cashews1no Cardamom (crushed) For preparing microwave sooji/semolina halwa, melt half of the ghee in a non stick pan and roast the raisins and cashew. Remove from the ghee and keep aside.Fry the semolina in the same pan till light brown. Allow to cool.Put a deep bottomed pan and add hot water, banana, roasted semolina sugar and cardamom. Mix well.Soak saffron in milk for 10 minutes and add into the above mixture. Combine well.Transfer the semolina mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Garnish with the roasted raisins and cashews.Place it in a microwave and cook for 5 minutes in high mode.Serve the sweet and tasty suji/semolina halwa when it cools. Others
