Roasted
semolina
mixed with powdered rice and other ingredients to make adai

Semolina
roasted, Rawa
1
cup
Powdered rice
1
cup
Curd
1
cup
Soya chunks
crushed
3/4
cup
Coconut
grated
1
cup
Onion
finely chopped
Ginger
a small piece, finely chopped
1/4
tsp
Asafoetida
Kayam
Baking soda
A pinch
Curry leaves
chopped
Oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Take roasted
semolina
, powdered white rice, soya chunks and kayam powder in a vessel. Mix gently.
Add baking soda to curd and add to the above
semolina
mixture. Add little
water
and required
salt
to make a smooth batter.
Add the remaining ingredients to the dosa batter: grated
coconut
, chopped
onion
,
ginger
and
curry leaves
. Stir and mix.
Heat a tawa and brush surface with little
oil
. Spread out the batter like a dosa and fry on both sides.
Mixed adai, a highly nutritional breakfast dish, is ready.
