  • Semolina(roasted, Rawa) - 2 cups
  • Powdered rice - 1 cup
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Soya chunks(crushed) - 1 cup
  • Coconut(grated) - 3/4 cup
  • Onion(finely chopped) - 1 cup
  • Ginger(a small piece, finely chopped) -
  • Asafoetida(Kayam) - 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda(A pinch) -
  • Curry leaves(chopped) -
  • Oil(As reqd) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Take roasted semolina, powdered white rice, soya chunks and kayam powder in a vessel. Mix gently.
  2. Add baking soda to curd and add to the above semolina mixture. Add little water and required salt to make a smooth batter.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the dosa batter: grated coconut, chopped onion, ginger and curry leaves. Stir and mix.
  4. Heat a tawa and brush surface with little oil. Spread out the batter like a dosa and fry on both sides.
  5. Mixed adai, a highly nutritional breakfast dish, is ready.
