Add all the chopped vegetables except tomatoes and sautT for about 5-7 minutes.
(*For making veg stock:-
Mix everything in a pressure cooker, cover it with lid and boil for 15 minutes. If you want to make a clear soup, don`t mash it. Turn off the gas. Strain using a strainer. Use the liquid for making soup.)
Add the veg stock, tomatoes, bay leaves, nutmeg powder, salt and pepper powder and bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer gently for 30-35 minutes. For a clear soup, sieve it. Otherwise liquidize in a blender.
