  • Channa dal(¾ cup., Kadala parippu) -
  • Redchillies - 50 g
  • Jaggery(powdered, Sharkara) - 1 no
  • White gingelly(Ellu) - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 3 tsp
  • Coconut oil - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida(Kayam) - 1 pinch

Instructions
  1. For preparing molagapodi-brahmins special, roast urad dal, channa dal in coconut oil. After roasting, add white gingelly and red chillies and keep roasting.
  2. Grind the roasted item.
  3. Add salt, jaggery, asafoetida and mix well.
  4. Molagapodi-brahmin special is ready to use as side dish for idly/ dosai etc.
