Moong Dal ( Cherupayar Parippu) Vada

Dal Vada Is One of the popular Tea Time snacks In kerala.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Moong dal Vada cherupayar parippu
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 small Ginger
  • 3 nos Green chilly
  • 7-8 nos Whole black pepper
  • 1 / Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves.
  • 1 tbsp Besan flour
  • Oil for frying.
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak dal for 3 hours .Drain the water completely. Grind dal with all other ingredients , add besan flour and salt, mix it well.
  • Make small balls with dal mix. Wet your hands and flatten each balls with your palms.Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the vadas on medium flame till it becomes crispy and brown colour.
  • Moong dal vada is ready. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
