Murg Khali Mirch Chicken in pepper sauce 1 kg ChickenCashew nuts (A handful)2 nos Onions2 tsp Pepper corns1 tbsp Coriander seedsGarlic pods (about 8 nos)Ginger (about 1/2 inch)8 - Green chillies2 nos Tomato (finely chopped)1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1 tbsp GheeSalt (As reqd) Clean the chicken and cut it into medium size pieces. Heat ghee in a pan.Fry the cashew nuts, 1 sliced onion, peppercorns, coriander seeds , garlic and green chillies in it. Fry till all the ingredients are cooked. Grind together the fried mixture along with ginger in a mixer grinder.Heat the remaining ghee in the pressure cooker.Add 1 sliced onion, chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder and fry for 2 mins.Add the chicken pieces and salt. Add the ground masala and little water. Pressure cook it for 10 - 15 mins on a medium-high flame. :- Serve hot with Jeera rice or hot rotis. North Indian
