Mushroom Curry Easy Mushroom curry 250 gm Button mushrooms1 cup Tomato puree2 nos Tomatoes (chopped)2 nos Onions (chopped)1 no Green chilly (chopped)1/4 tsp Ginger paste1/4 tsp Garlic paste1/2 cup Water1/2 cup Curd/yoghurt1/2 tsp Cumin powder (Jeerakam)1/2 tsp Coriander powder1 tsp Garam masala1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 tsp Red chilly powder2 tbsp ButterSalt (As reqd) Clean the mushrooms and keep aside.Heat butter in a pan.Add chopped onions and fry till transparent.Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies. Simmer for 2 minutes.Add all the powders and garam masala and fry for a minute.Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.Add tomato puree, tomatoes, salt and stock and cook for 2 minutes.Pour it into a microwave bowl.Microwave the mushroom gravy for 3 minutes. Pour the curd and mix well.:- Serve with rice. Kerala
I tried this recipe with some modifications. I didn`t use tomato at all. Just black peper and corriander powder. I added coconut paste as well. end.
