  • Button Mushrooms - 250 gm
  • Tomato puree - 1 cup
  • Tomatoes(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Onions(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Green chilly(chopped) - 1 no
  • Ginger Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Curd/Yoghurt - 1/2 cup
  • Cumin powder(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Clean the mushrooms and keep aside.
  2. Heat butter in a pan.
  3. Add chopped onions and fry till transparent.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add all the powders and garam masala and fry for a minute.
  6. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add tomato puree, tomatoes, salt and stock and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Pour it into a microwave bowl.
  9. Microwave the mushroom gravy for 3 minutes.
  10. Pour the curd and mix well.
  11. :- Serve with rice.

I tried this recipe with some modifications. I didn`t use tomato at all. Just black peper and corriander powder. I added coconut paste as well. end.
