Mushroom Curry Yummy

curry

Ingredients

Button mushrooms
cleaned and cut in half
1
Onion
finely chopped, medium
1
Tomato
diced, small
Ginger
garlic
paste - 2 tsp
1
sprig
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
roughly chopped
2
tsp
Chili powder
1/2
tsp
Turmeric powder
2
tsp
Coriander powder
1/2
tsp
Garam masala
1
tsp
Salt
Instructions
Heat
oil
in a pan. Add the onions and fry till golden brown. 2)Add
ginger
-
garlic
paste and fry till a nice aroma arises.
Add the tomatoes and cook covered on low heat, till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
Add chili powder,
coriander powder
,
turmeric
,
garam masala
and
salt
to taste and mix well.
Add the mushrooms and cook covered on low heat.
Once the mushrooms are cooked, add 1/2 cup
water
and let it boil for 5 minutes.
When
oil
floats on the surface, add the coriander leaves and remove from fire.
Mushroom
curry is ready and serve hot with rice or roti.
