Instructions
  1. For preparing the delicious dish, first wash mushrooms in warm water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add ginger and garlic paste and stir till browned.
  4. Add chopped onions and stir, till onions are cooked.
  5. Add coriander powder, masala powder and stir, till the smell of masala powder comes out.
  6. Add one or two chopped tomatoes, chilly powder and stir well, till tomatoes blend well.
  7. Add mushrooms, cover the pan with a lid and cook on a low fame, till mushroom is cooked.
  8. :- Secret to cooking mushroom well is that you should not cook mushroom in water. Mushroom, itself has a lot of fluid which comes out when heated up. Hence it gets cooked in its own fluid.
  9. Add water and salt as required and stir the curry dish well, till everything blends.
  10. Garnish the tasty curry with coriander leaves.
  11. Serve Mushroom Masala Curry hot with rice or roti.

Its very good…but you can tweak the things in it for a change. I myself used butter instead of oil n since i do not suffer from any heart issues, i can afford that. Also ya capsicum adds up the flavor. Try it with fried rice, it tastes awesome….

We really loved the preparation. My wife is not much into mushroom, but even she loved it.

I did a small change, added pepper corns along with ginger initially.

I tried this recipe after reading the comments ..the fact is, this recipe is really excellent and should be tried by every one.. keep up the good work sreejith..also it would be tastier if capsicum is added in the end.
