Instructions
  1. First Grind ginger, garlic, 1 green chilly and mint leaves together as a paste. Keep it aside.
  2. In a kadai, heat oil and ghee and add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, slided green chillies for tempering.
  3. Now add the grinded paste and cook till the raw smell goes.
  4. Add the chopped onions and cook till it turns into slight brown colour
  5. Now add the green peas and mushroom and mix it well. Normally, mushrooms leave water. So wait till the water is completely drained.
  6. Once the water is drained, add pepper powder, masala powder, coriander powder and salt.
  7. Mix it well and cook till the raw smell goes and the vegetables are blended with masala.
  8. Now add the boiled rice and mix it well. Turn off the flame
  9. Now, the tasty simple mushroom peas pulao is ready. It can be served with Cauliflower/Potato fry and raita.
Recipe Notes

Here, i have used pepper powder instead of red chilli powder, as pepper is very good for health. Infact it gives a new taste to this pulao. It is very good for kids.
