Mushroom Shawarma

This is a very simple recipe with mushroom and chappathi. It makes an awesome lunch box dish for kids. It is healthy too.

  • Chapathi or pita bread - 4 nos
  • Mushroom - 1 cup
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt(as taste) -
  • Curd(to mix with powders) - 1 tbsp
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Tandoori masala - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Pepper - 1 pinch
  • Garlic crushed - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion , capsicum, tomato(sliced thin) - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 4 tsp

Instructions
  1. In a pan, add all powders and curd and mix well
  2. Now add mushroom and mix well
  3. In pan add 2 tsp oil and fry mushroom and keep aside
  4. In curd add lemon juice and garlic and little salt and pepper
  5. In chapathi / pita bread, apply curd mixture
  6. Now keep mushroom and onion
  7. Now top with tomato and capsicum
  8. Now wrap it and serve it. Mushroom Shawarma is ready
