  • For preparing Mutta Roast, first mix together all the powders with a little water to make a smooth paste.
  • Make slits all over the hardboiled eggs.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.
  • Add onion and saute well.
  • When they get sauteed well, add the paste made with powders.
  • Saute again for a while.
  • Add water, vinegar and salt.
  • Allow it to boil.
  • When it starts to boil high, add the eggs.
  • When the gravy starts to thicken, cover the eggs with the masala.
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl.
  • :- Serve Mutta Roast hot with rotis, chappathis, puttu, appams etc.

    Put some sliced tomatoe with onion. It will be more tasty.
