Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Mutton
  • 500 gm Red pumpkin
  • 150 gm Curd
  • 4 nos Onions
  • 50 g Green peas
  • 1 no Carrot small
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • Garlic ginger-green chilli paste - 2 tsp
  • 1 no Bay leaf Vazhana/Karuga ela
  • Salt As reqd
  • Chilly powder As reqd
  • 2-3 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves

Instructions
 

  • Cut the mutton into small pieces.
  • Mix curd and salt and smear on the mutton pieces. Marinate the mutton for an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the onions till pink.
  • Add the garlic-ginger-green chilli paste and fry till golden brown.
  • Add the turmeric, chilli powder salt, garam masala powder, bay leaf and the mutton pieces.
  • Add the curd which was used to marinate the mutton.
  • Saute till it becomes brown.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cook till the mutton become tender. Remove from the heat.
  • Peel and boil the red pumpkin and mash it well.
  • Add this to the mutton and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve hot.
