Mutton curry with a totally different taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Mutton cut into small pieces
  • 200 gm Curd/Yoghurt whisked
  • 1 kg Onion sliced
  • 500 gm Tomatoes sliced
  • 5 nos Bay leaves Karuga ela
  • 6 nos Black cardamoms Elakka
  • 6 nos Green cardamoms Elakka
  • 5 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 piece Cinnamom stick Karugapatta
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 200 ml Oil
  • Ginger garlic paste - 50 gm
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Green chillies

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add bay leaves, black and green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.
  • When they become brown, add onions. Saute till onion become brown.
  • Add mutton and cook well on a low flame.
  • Add curd/yoghurt, tomato, ginger and garlic paste and cook for 15 minutes.
  • When mutton becomes tender, garnish with coriander and green chilli.
  • :- Serve with Roti , Nan or Rice.

    Yammy, excellent for a different dinner experience. Will be better with little pepper powder.
