Mutton Roganjosh Mutton curry with a totally different taste. 1 kg Mutton (cut into small pieces)200 gm Curd/Yoghurt (whisked)1 kg Onion (sliced)500 gm Tomatoes (sliced)5 nos Bay leaves (Karuga ela)6 nos Black cardamoms (Elakka)6 nos Green cardamoms (Elakka)5 nos Cloves (Grambu)1 piece Cinnamom stick (Karugapatta)1 tbsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)200 ml OilGinger (garlic paste - 50 gm)1 tbsp Coriander leaves1 tbsp Green chillies Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Add bay leaves, black and green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.When they become brown, add onions. Saute till onion become brown. Add mutton and cook well on a low flame.Add curd/yoghurt, tomato, ginger and garlic paste and cook for 15 minutes. When mutton becomes tender, garnish with coriander and green chilli.:- Serve with Roti , Nan or Rice. North Indian
