  • Mutton(cut into small pieces) - 1 kg
  • Curd/Yoghurt(whisked) - 200 gm
  • Onion(sliced) - 1 kg
  • Tomatoes(sliced) - 500 gm
  • Bay leaves(Karuga ela) - 5 nos
  • Black cardamoms(Elakka) - 6 nos
  • Green cardamoms(Elakka) - 6 nos
  • Cloves(Grambu) - 5 nos
  • Cinnamom stick(Karugapatta) - 1 piece
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 200 ml
  • Ginger(garlic paste - 50 gm) -
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 1 tbsp

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  2. Add bay leaves, black and green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.
  3. When they become brown, add onions. Saute till onion become brown.
  4. Add mutton and cook well on a low flame.
  5. Add curd/yoghurt, tomato, ginger and garlic paste and cook for 15 minutes.
  6. When mutton becomes tender, garnish with coriander and green chilli.
  7. :- Serve with Roti , Nan or Rice.

Yammy, excellent for a different dinner experience. Will be better with little pepper powder.
