Naadan Coconut Chutney A typical Malabar chutney 1 cup Grated coconut3 nos Red chillies (roasted on flame/tawa, Kollamulaku)1/2" piece Ginger2 - Small onionsSalt (As reqd)For seasoning:-2 tbsp Coconut oil1/2 tsp Mustard seeds1 no Red chillies (Kollamulaku)Curry leaves (A few) Grind together coconut, red chillies, ginger, shallots and salt along with 1 cup of water.Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Splutter mustard seeds.Add broken red chillies and curry leaves and saute for a second.Pour it over the chutney.:- Serve with dosas or idlis.:- For added taste, you can add chopped small onion, while seasoning.
