Naadan Kappa (tapioca) Mathi (sardines) Puzhukku (
Naadan kerala dish
Ingredients
- 750 g, Tapioca
- 200 g Unnikaambu
- 2 Raw banana
- 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 Sardines
- 3/4 pc, Coconut
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 3 Shallots
- 3 pods Garlic
- 2 Green chilly
Instructions
- Cook the raw banana, unnikaambu, sardines, turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and water as required in a pressure cooker.
- Mix in the tapioca and grinded coconut with the cooked banana-sardine curry. Mash it with a wooden spoon thoroughly.
- Cook it again for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve it for dinner along with kanji.
