Instructions
  1. Heat 1/4 tsp of oil in a pan.
  2. Add chilly powder into it and heat it stirring continuously.
  3. Grind together grated coconut, small onions, turmeric powder, roasted chilly powder and fenugreek powder into a coarse form.
  4. :- It shouldnt be a very fine paste.
  5. Heat up a Meen chatti or earthern pot.
  6. Add the cut fish, the coconut paste, tamarind water, salt and split green chillies.
  7. Boil it and cook, till the fish is tender.
  8. Switch off the fire and sprinkle rest of the oil and curry leaves.
  9. :- Split pieces of drumstick adds to the taste.

What about tamarind (puli)? I see it mentioned as an ingredient but is not mentioned in the procedure 🙁

dear hari pls go thru the recipe n analize where the problem is. it might b with u only. dont blame anyone like that. to start with a new recipe u should try with sm small fish and that also in small qty. i`ve tried this recipe n it came out so well. keep it up lakshmi. u r nt miss leading others.
