For preparing the delicious fish fry, first wash , clean and cut ayala fish into pieces. In a mixer blend chilli powder, shallots, turmeric powder, salt, curry leaf and pepper into a smooth paste. Marinate the mackerel pieces with the mixture for 15 minutes. Keep in the refrigerator.
After 15 minutes take out ayala from refrigerator.
Heat coconut oil in a kadai and fry marinated ayala one by one into a golden brown color.
