Nadan Chakkakuru Muringayila Curry | Jackfruit Seeds Drumstick Leaves Curry

  • Peel the jackfruit seeds and cut into two pieces.
  • Cook jackfruit seeds with turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt and water as required for 5 whistles.
  • Grind the coconut with little water and make a smooth paste. Add it to the cooked jackfruit seeds and cook the curry for one or two minutes. Don't let the curry boil for too much time.
  • Heat oil in a clay pot and splutter mustard seeds and then add chopped shallots and saute until light brown in colour.
  • Add cleaned and washed drumstick leaves and saute for one minute.
  • Add the curry and combine well. Remove from the flame.
  • Nadan Chakkakuru Muringayila Curry is ready.
