Nadan Kerala Ediyappam

It is a popular breakfast of kerala.It is a nice recipe,even kids and adults like this learn this from my mom.

  • Heat water in vessel, add little oil and boil for 3 minutes.
  • Take rice powder in a plate,Add this water little by little into rice powder and mix with hand carefully without burning.
  • Then make this dough to a round soft dough
  • Fill this dough into idiyappam press and keep aside.
  • Then take idly plate and put little grated coconut into it.
  • Next close the idiyappa presser
  • Squeeze the dough into idily plate.
  • We have to squeeze this dough into full idly stand plates
  • Next in idli steamer add 1 cup water,when water starts boiling then put the stand inside steamer .Steam for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes we have to open the steamer.
  • Next we have to remove this idiyappam from stand to plate with a spoon,Now idiyappam is ready.Serve hot with sugar or curry.
