Instructions
  1. For preparing Nellikka Chammandhi, first wash the gooseberries, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces. Cook the chopped gooseberries in little water.
  2. Chop green chillies, ginger and red onions also into small pieces.
  3. Mix the cooked gooseberries with all the other ingredients, add required salt and grind without any water to a smooth paste.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai or a pan.
  5. Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add curry leaves.
  6. Remove from fire and add it to the ground paste.
  7. Nellikka Chammandhi, a spicy, nutritious side dish is ready that goes well with a variety of dishes.
