Neythili Thoran Neythili Fish cooked with grated coconut 1/2 lbs Neythili Fish5 nos Shallots (Kunjulli)1/2 of Coconut (grated)1 1/2 tsp Chilly powder1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 tsp Pepper powder1/4 tsp Cumin powder (Jeerakam)Salt (As reqd)1 - Oil1/4 tsp Mustard seedsCurry leaves (A few)2 nos Green chillies (slit) Grind together coconut, shallots, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and salt into a coarse mixture.Heat a little oil in a pan. Crackle mustard seeds.Add curry leaves and green chillies and saute for a min. Add the ground mixture along with the neythili fish pieces and mix well.Cover and cook for 15 mins.:- Serve hot with rice or rotis. Kerala
hi, thanks for the recipe. One thing i need to add in this matter. do we really use cumin in thisrecipe. i thoght we use coriander instead of cumin for neytholli thoran.
