Ingredients

Moong dal

Turmeric powder
Salt
as reqd

Oil
1
tsp
Cumin seeds

Onion
chopped
4
nos
Green chillies
chopped
1
tsp
Ginger
chopped
1
tsp
Garlic
chopped
1/2
cup
Coriander leaves
chopped
Instructions
Cook moong dal by adding
turmeric powder
and
salt
.
When it is cooked, mash it well with a beater and keep aside.
Heat
oil
in a kadai and splutter
cumin seeds
.
Add chopped
onion
,
ginger
,
garlic
,green chilies and sautT till
onion
becomes light golden brown.
Add cooked dal and mix it well.
Add little
water
to get the required consistency.
Keep it in a low flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
:- Serve hot with roti or plain rice.
