roasted lightly, Moong dal/Cherupayar parippu

Turmeric powder
1/2
tsp
Chilly powder
Salt
As reqd

Garlic
chopped

Cumin seeds
Jeerakam

tsp
Coriander leaves
chopped

Water

Oil
Instructions
Heat
oil
in a pressure cooker.
Splutter
cumin seeds
.
Add
garlic
and saute for 3 - 4 mins.
Add moong dal,
turmeric
, chilly powder,
salt
and
water
and cook upto 2 whistles.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
:-Serve hot with white rice or chappathis.
