North Indian Simple Crab Curry

Ingredients
  

  • Crabs
  • 2 small Ginger
  • 3 nos Onions chopped
  • 12 nos Garlic pods
  • 1 cup Curd/Yoghurt Thayiru
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black cumin Shahjeera
  • Cinnamom(Karugapatta)
  • Chilly Powder As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

For garnishing:

  • 2 tsp Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Poppy seeds Khashakhasha
  • 1/2 Khobra

Instructions
 

  • Grind the ingredients to a paste.
  • Apply the paste on the crab and marinate.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions.
  • Fry them till they become brown in colour.
  • Add crabs to pot with heavy lid and cook.
  • Make a paste of coriander, poppy seeds and khobra and pour over crabs.
  • :- Crab Curry is ready. Usually Crab Curry gets its taste the next day.
  • :- Serve Crab Curry hot with rice.

    Preparation Method is not clear… If I grind all the ingredient to paste than which onion should one add to oil and fry????
