Instructions
  1. Wash the spinach well and cut them into big pieces.
  2. SautT spinach and green chillies in 1 tsp of oil until they are wilted.
  3. Allow it to cool and blend it into a smooth paste.
  4. Boil tomato in hot water till the skin breaks down. Remove the skin and mash the tomato into a smooth paste.
  5. Roast cashews lightly. Add a little water and blend it into a fine paste.
  6. SautT paneer cubes in 1 tsp of ghee till they are golden brown.
  7. Heat oil in a pan.
  8. Saute onion and ginger-garlic paste, till the onion is translucent.
  9. Add the spinach, tomato and cashew paste into it.
  10. Add salt and mix well.
  11. Cover and cook for 10 - 15 mins.
  12. Finally, add the paneer cubes and cook for 2 - 3 mins.

I tried this without adding coriander pdr and Cumin pdr but crackled cumin in the oil for seasoning.It turned out good and my guests loved it

i hv tried several recipes of paalak paneer. but urs was the best. my hubby appreciated it a lot.the inclusion of cashew paste has given this dish a new dimension.thanx a lot for sharing ur recipe
