Instructions In a vessel, mix milk and sugar and boil it for 10 mins. Add cardamom powder and saffron. Let it boil on a slow flame. Mix together milk powder, maida and baking powder well in a bowl. Add one lightly beaten egg and ghee. Knead it into a dough. Make 20 - 22 small balls off it. Put these balls into the boiling milk. Cook for 10 - 12 mins. Remove from heat. Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios. :- Serve it cool. I used sweetened condensed milk instead of sugar and wow can`t resist really.After putting the balls in milk I had to switch it off after 7mim b`cos they looked too soft I thought they might break.Good job..please post receipe`s like this. February 23, 2008 - 12:00 amThis is the perfect measurment for rasmalai.i got the same one and it comes out perfect with this measurement.go for this recipe if u want to make one.trust me.Careful,not to use i heaped tablespoon of maida,instead use just a tablespoon.Check out the baking powder,if the date is expired,it might not puff up and also shrink later on causing the centre to be hard!
