1 cup Oats (powdered)1 cup Semolina (roasted, Rawa)1 cup Spinach (finely chopped, Cheera)1/2 cup Sprouted green gram (Cherupayar)1 cup Drumstick leaves (Muringa ela)2 nos Green chillies (chopped)Ginger (a small piece, finely chopped)1 cup Onion (finely chopped)1 tsp Split black gram (Uzhunnu parippu)1 tsp Mustard seeds2 cups WaterOil (As reqd)Salt (As reqd) Take a pan and pour oil. Heat the oil and splutter mustard seeds and uzhunnu parippu. Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, spinach and drumstick leaves. Saute for sometime.Add 2 cups water and required salt. Leave it to boil. When it starts boiling, add roasted rawa and powdered oats. Cook in low heat until water evaporates completely.Sprinkle sprouted cherupayar on top.Stir and make sure that no lumps are formed.Oats upma, an ideal breakfast dish is ready. Serve hot. Kerala
