Instructions
  1. Wash all dals and paalak.
  2. Place them along with ginger, green chillies and 1/2 cup of water in a pressure cooker.
  3. Pressure cook approximately for 12 mins.
  4. Cool it to room temperature.
  5. Grind 1/4 of the above mixture into a coarse form.
  6. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  7. Add crushed garlic.
  8. Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  9. :- If desired, you can add asafoetida also.
  10. Add the dal mix and stir.
  11. Slowly add milk.
  12. Add paneer pieces and boil it for 1/2 min.
  13. :- Serve with rice or rotis. It can be used as a soup too.

d preperation looked very “pheeka”, i heated oil, n added some turmeric and chilli powder, i think it improved the look and taste…
