  • Shallots - 1/4 cup
  • Tomato - 1 shopped
  • Red chili - 3 to
  • Salt(as per taste) -
  • Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 string
  • Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Boil Green gram and mash well with masher
  2. In pan add oil and temper mustard, jeera, fenugreek
  3. Now add shallots, tomato, curry leaves,red chili and saute well
  4. Now add salt and mashed dal, mix well
  5. Now add water 1/2 cup , add asafeotida, bring it to boil and turn off
  6. Now its ready to serve Pachapayar Kadasal
