Palada Payasam made with ada 200 gm Ada3 litres Milk3/4 glass Sugar1 tsp GheeCardamom powder (A pinch, Elakka) Soak the ada in hot water for at least 15 mins.Wash it in cold water so that it doesn`t stick to one another while cooking.Boil 2 litres of milk in a vessel.When the milk starts to thicken, add ada into it and allow it to cook.Add sugar and stir for at least 15 mins.When the milk becomes semi thick, add the rest of the milk and stir.When it reaches the desired consistency, remove from the flame.Add ghee and cardamom powder.:- Serve hot or chilled. If you make as per this procedure, the payasam will look like a watery one. You will have to search for ada.
