Palada Pradhaman involves cooking ada pieces in the base of your choice and adding the necessary spices to flavour it up. Traditionally, this ada is made from scratch but now you get to buy them readymade in the stores and that’s what I did.
Bring water to rolling boil,switch off and add the ada.Let it soak for 30 minutes.heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nits and raisins,keep it aside.
Dissolve jaggery in half cup of water and strain it to remove impurities if any.
Cook the rice ada in jaggerywater until it thickens
Add coconutmilk and a pinch of salt into it.cook on medium flame until it thickens again.
Once it thickens add fried cashew nuts and raisins.mix well and switch off the flame.
Delicious Ada pradaman is ready.serve hot or chilled.
