Palak Paneer
Quick Microwave recipe
Ingredients
- 2 bundles Palak/Spinach
- 200 gm Paneer cut into cubes
- 2 nos Onion chopped
- 5 - Garlic pods
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 1 no Green chilly
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 2 nos Tomato chopped
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Kasoori methi
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Salt As reqd
Instructions
- In a microproof deep bowl, put oil, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion, 2 tsp coriander powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
- Microwave for 5 mins.
- Remove and to the same bowl add tomatoes, cleaned palak and kasoori methi. Mix well & microwave for 8 mins.
- Cool the palak & blend it with 1/2 cup water.
- Put this palak puree into the same microproof dish & add red chilli powder, paneer, salt, 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup water. Mix well & microwave for 5 mins.
- :- Serve hot.
