Clean and wash spinach and immerse in boiling water for 2 minutes. Mash it in a mixer and make a fine paste.
Heat oil in a deep pan. Add whole garam masala, then add onions and fry till golden brown.
3)Add turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
4)Add all spices: red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, fenugreek leaves, green chillies, tomato and required salt.
Now add the spinach paste(palak) and cook till it oozes out oil.
6)Cut paneer into pieces. Some use it fried. If you have fresh paneer, just add to the gravy and simmer for few minutes.
Palak paneer is ready. Top with little cream(optional).
