Instructions
  1. Soak vanpayar for 2 - 3 hrs.
  2. Cook it in pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
  3. Once cooked, add mathanga, salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
  4. Keep, till mathanga is cooked.
  5. Grind coconut with jeerakam finely.
  6. Add this paste into the vegetables. Keep for 5 mins.
  7. Heat oil in a pan.
  8. Splutter mustard seeds and saute curry leaves.
  9. Garnish the curry with the above tempering.
