Instructions

  • Boil water adding some turmeric powder and turn off fire. Immerse paneer cubes in it and keep aside. This process prevents the paneer cubes from breaking while cooking. Then drain paneer cubes and shallow fry in some oil.
  • Boil water in another vessel, adding salt and add soya chunks to it. Close with a lid, turn off fire and keep aside for 10-15 minutes. When soya chunks soaked well, squeeze it from the water and cut each chunk into halves. Keep aside.
  • Place kadai on fire, add vegetable oil and splutter cumin seeds.
  • Add chopped ginger, garlic & green chillies to it and sauté for a minute.
  • Then add sliced onions and sauté until color is about to turn brown.
  • Add coriander powder and sauté for a minute.
  • Now add chilly powder and roast until raw taste is gone.
  • Add garam masala and fry for a minute. Then add turmeric powder and sliced tomatoes. Sauté until oil separates.
  • Add soya chunks & salt to this masala and mix well.
  • Add paneer and some boiling water to make the gravy. Let the gravy boil well for 2 minutes.
  • Add fresh cream to the curry and heat it on low fire.
  • Garnish with chopped corianderleaves.
  • :- Serve with roti/chappathi/naan/fried rice/pulao.
