Par Boiled Rice Murukku (Puzhungal Arisi Murukk)

this is South Indian famous recipe which we do regularly in our home for Diwali. this simple and easy to do .

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Par Boiled Rice Puzhungal Arisi
  • 1/2 kg Roasted Channa Dal powder
  • 12 no Red chili
  • 1 tsp Ajwain/Omam
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 & Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • Salt As needed
  • Oil i used 1.5 liters

Instructions
 

  • Soak par boiled rice for 2 hours and grind with red chili and salt and asafoetida and keep aside
  • Now keep all ingredient items as aside . note batter should not ferment. after grinding immediately start process .
  • Now mix all in big well and make sure that you added salt while grinding
  • Now make dough like chapathi dough and it should be soft . if it is hard you will get good texture of murukku.
  • Now in Murukku presser add dough and press gently and make round shape in Big spatula . refer pic
  • In mean time heat oil in big pan and drop four in one batch
  • Cook little till the boiling sound stops from oil.
  • Now its ready to serve Par Boiled Rice Murukku (Puzhungal Arisi Murukku)
