Hot and crispy Parippu Vadas make the best of evening snacks that are healthy and beholds a nostalgic experience too. Soak dals in water and grind to prepare a thick batter. Add chopped onions, curry leaves and other ingredients to the batter and mix well. Pluck off small balls from mixture and prepare patties. Deep fry vadas in hot boiling oil until golden brown in colour. Dals are rich in protein and other vital nutrients required for body. Instructions
  1. For preparing the tasty and nutritious snack, first soak the dals in water for at least 2 hrs.
  2. Grind these together to make a thick paste. Do not add water while grinding.
  3. Add onions, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, chilly powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Wet your hands and make balls of the mix and make patties.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour. Serve hot. The crispy and crunchy vadas are ready.
