Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Red gram dal Thuvara parippu
  • 1/2 cup Bengal gram dal Kadala parippu
  • Curry leaves chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup Shallots chopped finely, Kunjulli
  • 2 nos Green chillies chopped finely
  • 1" piece Ginger chopped finely
  • 1/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil For frying

Instructions
 

  • For preparing the tasty and nutritious snack, first soak the dals in water for at least 2 hrs.
  • Grind these together to make a thick paste. Do not add water while grinding.
  • Add onions, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, chilly powder, salt and mix well.
  • Wet your hands and make balls of the mix and make patties.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour. Serve hot. The crispy and crunchy vadas are ready.
