Easy Parippu Vada is a tasty traditional snack made with ground dals and deep fried in hot boiling oil. Parippu Vada with Poovan Pazham and a cup of hot tea is an age old traditional favourite that still keeps on repeating itself in modern times too. Hot crispy Parippu Vadas make the best of evening snacks that are healthy and beholds a nostalgic experience too. Soak dals in water and grind to prepare a thick batter. Add chopped onions, curry leaves and other ingredients to the batter and mix well. Pluck off small balls from mixture and prepare patties. Deep fry Parippu Vadas in hot boiling oil until golden brown in colour. Relish hot and crispy Easy Parippu Vada with a cup of hot tea.

  • Bengal gram dal(Kadala parippu) - 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves(chopped finely) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing easy parippu vada, first soak the dals in water for at least 2 hrs.
  2. Grind these together to make a thick paste. Do not add water while grinding.
  3. Add onions, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, chilly powder, salt and mix well.
  4. Wet your hands and make balls of the mix and make patties.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour. Serve hot. Easy parippu vada is ready.
