Coriander leaves

Mint leaves

Salt

Oil

Cumin seeds
Jeerakam

Curry leaves
Instructions
Pressure cook rice and
green peas
separately.
Grind together coriander leaves,
mint leaves
, half
onion
,
garlic
,
ginger
,
green chillies
and 1 tsp of
cumin seeds
into a paste.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Add
cumin seeds
,
curry leaves
and the remaining half of finely chopped
onion
.
Fry, till it turns transparent.
Add the ground paste, cooked peas and
salt
.
Mix it thoroughly, till the raw smell of the paste goes.
Add rice and mix well.
:- Serve hot with
Onion
Raita.
