Ingredients

Green peas
: 2 cup
Onion
: 1 no (chopped)
Coconut
: 2 cup (grated)
Chilli powder
: 1 tsp
Coriander powder
: 2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds
: 1/ 2 tsp
Tamarind
: lemon size
Salt
: as reqd
Instructions
Cook the
green peas
in a pressure cooker and keep aside.2) Dry roast the
coconut
with
chilli powder
and
coriander powder
.
Heat
coconut oil
and splutter
fenugreek seeds
and add
onion
.
Saute well. Add
coconut
mixture and sauté again.5) Grind this into mixture.6) Add
oil
, in kadai. Fry the ground masala well.7) Add
green peas
,
tamarind
juice and
salt
.
When done, remove from fire.9) Add the fried
onion
on top and serve hot.
