  • Bitter gourd(chopped, Pavakka) - 2 nos
  • Potatoes(thinly sliced, medium size) - 1 small
  • Prawns(medium size) - 1/4 kg
  • Onion(chopped, big size) - 1
  • Coconut pieces(a handful) -
  • Red chilly powder - 2 -
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(as reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Cook bitter gourd with turmeric powder and salt until dry. Keep aside.
  2. In a pan, add coconut oil and saute onions until pink.
  3. Add chillie powder, turmeric powder, salt , potato, coconut pieces & prawns. Saute till they are cooked. No need to add water
  4. To this, mix in the cooked bittergourd, cover and cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Finally garnish with fresh curry leaves.
  6. :- Serve hot!!!
