Pazham Pori-Pazha Bajji

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Bananas Ripe nendhram pazham
  • 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 4 tbsp Sugar or according to taste
  • 4 nos Cardamom powdered/pounded, Elakka
  • Water about 2 cups
  • Salt A pinch
  • 10 drops Yellow food color
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Take maida in a flat bottomed bowl.
  • Add enough water to make a thick batter.
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder, salt and food color and mix thoroughly making sure no lumps are formed.
  • Cut the banana into half.
  • Then cut them lengthwise into 4 strips.
  • Heat oil in a wok for deep frying.
  • Dip the banana strips into the batter and deep fry till done. :- Let them not change color too much. Remove when they start turning golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tea. Tips:- :- you can add 2 sugar free tablets instead of sugar for diabetics and health conscious. Happy Cooking 🙂
