  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Onion(chopped) - 1 no

  • Green chilly(chopped) - 1 no
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
  • Mustard seeds(A pinch) -
  • Cumin seeds(A pinch, Jeerakam) -
  • Dry red chilly(broken) - 1 no
  • Urad dal(A pinch, Uzhunnu parippu) -
  • Asafoetida(A pinch, Kayam) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing peanut yogurt raita, blend together yogurt, roasted peanut powder and roasted almond powder. Add turmeric, cucumber and salt. Mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add urad dal, cumin, red chilly and curry leaves.
  3. Now add chopped onion, green chilly, tomato and sautT well. Add chopped coriander and remove the pan from the fire.
  4. Pour the tempering into the peanut yogurt mixture.
  5. Peanut yogurt raita, a tasty dip with idly, dosa etc is ready.
