Ginger

paste - 2 tsp

Water

Aniseeds
Perinjeerakam

Cinnamom
Karugapatta

Cloves
Grambu

Bay leaves
Karuga ela

Cardamoms
Elakka

Green chillies

Ghee
Coriander leaves
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Soak rice in
water
for half an hour.
Heat
oil
in a pan for about 2 minutes. Add aniseeds, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, cardamoms &
cloves
and stir for a few seconds.
Add onions,
green chillies
,
ginger
&
garlic
paste & peas. Stir and fry for about 2 minutes.
Then, add rice and fry till the rice turns opaque(approximately 3 minutes).
Add
salt
&
water
and stir it.
Allow peas pulao to cook.
Finally, garnish the peas pulao with coriander leaves.
:- serve peas pulao hot.
