South Indian pepper chicken gravy, goes well with Chappathi, Dosai and idli. Pepper chicken gravy is a quick and easy-to-make traditional recipe. I learnt this recipe from my grandmother. It is a sure cure for cold, cough.

Instructions
  1. heat the oil and ghee in the pan, and temper the whole black pepper, cumin seed and cardamom
  2. chop the onion , tomato and green chili
  3. add onion and green chili and saute it for 3 mins
  4. add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and mix well until the raw smell goes out
  5. add tomato and mix well
  6. now add black pepepr powder, coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder and mix well
  7. cook for two min until the masala get cooked and oil comes out
  8. add cleaned chicken and mix it, cook for 5 mins in medium flame
  9. add required water for gravy and mix well
  10. allow to cook in medium flame until the chicken get cooked and gravy gets thick consistency
  11. garnish with coriander leaves, now pepper chicken gravy is ready.
