Instructions
  1. Roast the pepper, lentil and chillies together in a pan till they become golden brown.
  2. Add cumin seeds and grind them together to a powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the tamarind paste(if not paste, remove the pieces of tamarind after 15 minutes in the water) in 4 cups of warm water.
  4. Add salt and asafoetida, boil the water for a few minutes.
  5. Mix in the powder from above and boil the pepper rasam for about 5 minutes.
  6. :- Pepper Rasam (Kurumullake Rasam) is ready.
  7. :- Serve Pepper Rasam (Kurumullake Rasam) hot with rice or drink like a soup.
  8. :- Drinking Pepper Rasam is very good if you have fever.
