  • Khoya(grated) - 500 gm
  • Powdered sugar - 300 gm
  • Food colour(optional) - 2-3 drops
  • Cardamom powder(Elakka) - 1/2 tsp
  • Pistachios (sliced)(Pista) - 8-10 nos

Instructions
  1. Mix khoya with sugar in a kadai or a pan.
  2. Heat on low flame, stirring continuously.
  3. Cook till the mixture thickens to form a very soft lump. This should take about 10 minutes.
  4. Add cardamom powder & food colour. Mix well.
  5. Take a small fistful of mixture and press into the cookie mould and turn out carefully.
  6. Press 2-3 slices of pistachios in the center of the mixture.
  7. Repeat the procedure for the remaining mixture.
