Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Khoya grated
  • 300 gm Powdered sugar
  • 2-3 drops Food colour optional
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder Elakka
  • 8-10 nos Pistachios (sliced) Pista

Instructions
 

  • Mix khoya with sugar in a kadai or a pan.
  • Heat on low flame, stirring continuously.
  • Cook till the mixture thickens to form a very soft lump. This should take about 10 minutes.
  • Add cardamom powder & food colour. Mix well.
  • Take a small fistful of mixture and press into the cookie mould and turn out carefully.
  • Press 2-3 slices of pistachios in the center of the mixture.
  • Repeat the procedure for the remaining mixture.

    Is Khoya and paneer are same
