Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Rice flour Ari podi
  • 175 gm Powdered sugar preferably Mishri sugar
  • 100 gm Ghee
  • 25 gm Raisins Onakka munthiri

Dried fruits and nuts:

  • 25 gm Cashew nuts, Almonds, Pistachios(Pista) and Dates(Eenthapazham) Badam

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a kadai or a pan.
  • Roast the rice flour till it gives off a bit of an aroma. Remove from the flame.
  • Add powdered sugar, raisins and chopped dried fruits and nuts.
  • When it has cooled, take a fistful and press into an oblong shape. Your fingers will leave a ridged imprint pattern characteristic of pinnis.
