Plain Flour Appam

A very soft tasty kind appam for break fast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Rice flour raw is preferable
  • 4 nos Eggs
  • 8 tsp Coconut milk powder
  • 1/2 tsp Yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups Water
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Mix well rice flour, eggs, coconut milk powder, yeast and water and make the batter.
  • :- Make sure that flour is mixed well with eggs and water.
  • Leave the batter closed in a pot for 4-5 hours.
  • Then mix salt.
  • Place the non-stick appam thava on the stove & heat it.
  • Pour one big scoop appam batter in the thava & then by holding the both handles, spread the batter in the thava.
  • Close the lid & after 2 minutes, open the lid and take out the appam.
  • :- Serve hot with chicken curry or Egg Masala Curry.
  • :- This appam can also be served with coconut milk by adding sugar in it.
