  • Rice flour(raw is preferable) - 1/2 kg
  • Eggs - 4 nos
  • Coconut milk powder - 8 tsp
  • Yeast - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 3 1/2 cups
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Mix well rice flour, eggs, coconut milk powder, yeast and water and make the batter.
  2. :- Make sure that flour is mixed well with eggs and water.
  3. Leave the batter closed in a pot for 4-5 hours.
  4. Then mix salt.
  5. Place the non-stick appam thava on the stove & heat it.
  6. Pour one big scoop appam batter in the thava & then by holding the both handles, spread the batter in the thava.
  7. Close the lid & after 2 minutes, open the lid and take out the appam.
  8. :- Serve hot with chicken curry or Egg Masala Curry.
  9. :- This appam can also be served with coconut milk by adding sugar in it.
