Heat the kadai/frying pan and put the oil in it.
2)Add the mustard seeds and when they splutter, add cury leaves followed by the chopped onions and stir fry till golden brown.
When the onion is half done, add the peas, tomatoes and sprinkling a little sugar and water in it, cover for 2-3 mins so that the peas are cooked.
4)Meanwhile, cut the brown edges of the bread.
Soak the slices(one by one) in water for 4-5 seconds each and then drain out all the water carefully by pressing between both the palms.
6)Crumble the dried slice between your fingers and add to the fried onions in the kadai.
7)Add salt, pepper powder and turmeric powder.
Turn over the poha lightly in the kadai and cover it with a lid and cook on low flame for 2 mins.
Add curd and mix the poha well so that all the bread pieces are covered with curd. Take care to do this with a light hand as the poha is fragile.
10)Lightly saute for 1-2 mins.
Remove from flame and cover it again with a lid for 2 mins.
12)Garnish with coriander leaves.
:- Serve with Coriander Chutney or Tomato Ketchup.
